The Nimble Thimbles Chinese Auction raised over $700, and was a resounding success.  To all those who helped organize the auction, you are fabulous. To all who came and participated, you were treated to an evening of hilarious fun and great auction items and we thank you for helping us raise monies for future NT activities. And to those who donated items for the auction, we couldn't have done this without you. Thank you, one and all.

Tuesday, April 29th, will be a Sew-In day at the Church. We will be opening up the meeting room at 6 pm to allow us an extra hour of sewing. Bring whatever project you are working on and your sewing machine and join us for an evening of creativity.

May 6th will be our first meeting in May. We will be meeting at the Gilbert Museum. Do not meet at the Church. It will be an evening enjoying a local, non-juried, quilt show. This event is free and will include voting for the board for next year.

Safe travels to our members who are driving to Prescott for the quilt camp this weekend.  We look forward to seeing all the beautiful projects you accomplished.

The next meeting on, April 15th, is the annual auction.  There are a lot of beautiful items donated including fabrics, templates, a sewing table, chair, and a Sears sewing machine that is easy to take with you on travels.  Bring your quarters so you can put your name in for a chance to win on the items that catch your eye.  Guests are welcome and they might bring you good luck.

No show and tell at the April 14th meeting.

Next month, we will be meeting at the Gilbert Museum to view their wonderful quilt collection and voting in new officers.  There are still open positions if you are interested in volunteering.
